INTRODUCTION

Greeting to one and all. I am writing "A Lady's Domain" to share my experience, strength and hope (with some fun and beautiful discoveries of mine) for those women who are beginning their lives again after a death, divorce, or the end of a major relationship. My wish is that those who visit this blog, are encouraged and inspired to go forward with their lives with hope, with a better sense who they are as individuals, and learn to value the uniqueness and preciousness they are, and always have been.

Sometimes we women, regardless of our ages, have been worn, and wounded by what fate, God, our lives, and society has dealt us. We must, however, learn to stand, to fight, and regain our value, learning that life has been given to us to LIVE.

I am fifty years young, and have recently divorced for the second time. I have a twenty year-old daughter, and a nine year-old daughter. I am a Paraprofessional within the public school system and I work exclusively with autistic children. I am in the process of moving out of my home, which my ex-husband I shared for 14 years. Yes, I did gain the home in the divorce, however, this home no longer feels safe or comfortable; due to the turbulent years spent here with the former husband, the atmosphere which should provide a sense of safety and peace, no longer exists...and so I am moving on. Transition time is hand once again. I will share more with you at a later date. But please know here, on this blog, I will share with honesty and candidness, what I have experienced, have overcome, and am attempting to overcome. Please feel free to post your comments.

The blog will be undergoing a gradual renovation in appearance with time, so please be patient.

I look forward to "meeting" and sharing with you.

Love and Peace,
Lisa
